The Institute
for Technology and Enterprise in the Department of Management of Polytechnic
University held a meeting today at 55 Broad Street of higher education leaders
in the Management of Technology [MOT] field in the Northeast Region of the
United States. At this meeting the first draft of the Directory of Management
of Technology (MOT) Maine-Virginia was released. This Directory is being
published by Kulper & Company, LLC.
Professor Mel
Horwitch, Director of the Institute for Technology and Enterprise and former Chair,
Management Department, Polytechnic University, commented:
"Polytechnic University has made a
strategic commitment to MOT. We have a range of academic programs and research
activities dealing with this arena. We believe it is crucial to promote a deeper
understanding of what comprises a successful MOT program and this Directory will
help enormously. We plan to take an active role in continuing to support the
long-term development of the MOT Directory (ME-VA). We aim take a leadership role
in exploring the on-going findings of the Directory with colleagues from Higher
Education and Industry, as it is continually improved. We are also very pleased that
Kulper & Company is supporting the development and growth of the MOT field."
