As the Internet increasingly becomes a viable
commercial platform, new media start-ups have burst on the scene. Traditional media companies are
similarly scrambling to get online.
But does building a successful new media enterprise require a completely new approach to management?
Do traditional and evolving management practices still apply? Are there effective business models for
the modern content enterprise?
This Round Table was also concerned with the management challenges associated with making the transition
from print to digital content products and with doing business simultaneously in both worlds.
