Avi Fiegenbaum is a tenured Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Management, The Technion Institute, Haifa, Israel, where he was born and raised. He joined the Technion in 1991 after returning from the United States, where he was Assistant Professor of Corporate Strategy at the University of Michigan.

He is author orco-editor of three books, including the forthcoming Global Competitive Strategy: the Core of Strategic Reference Points Theory and Cases on: Strategic Evolution of Israeli Multi Nationals to be completed in 1997. He has published 20 scientific papers in leading journals including Academy of Management Review, International Studies of Management and Organizations, Israel Journal of Psychology, Journal of Behavioral Economics, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Manufacturing Systems Engineering, Managerial and Decision Economics, and Strategic Management Journal. Avi is married and has three children.
